Thanks for that. I made up a charge lead using the socket I had cut off for something else. It sits in my pit box as an emergency incase my NiMh (or my mates) die midway through a meet. I experimented with different charge rates for them but the essence was speed of charge so you could get back up and racing quickly.
I'm finding I usually have to charge the transmitter at home between meetings and it would be nice to have a 'fit and forget' battery. Are there any cut off rules for the lipo voltage when fitted in a transmitter? Do they have any undervoltage protection?
