Thanks all I have sorted a set of chris longs 2nd hand.I've been racing model cars for around 20yrs with the odd break, but I,ve just put the 1/8th car's down after 10yrs and come back to tenth so little things like this I know nothing about.Coventry last weekend was my first big meet with tenth since 1991 I was well chuffed with 2nd in the B 2wd & 3 in the B 4wd.

Thanks for all your help.The metal work option looked hard work and I think the air could ave got a bit blue in the old shed.BUT thank you for posting the thred.as I suspect chris long ones may be hard to get over there thus making your own may have been the only option unless you want to spend mega bucks!!!
