This is exactly what happend. I never said it was my design, I simply said 'hand made'.

The gap between the tie rod balls is closer on my plates so I can use a standard Mardave steering arm.
I also thined the carbon over the springs to 1mm so it has less affect on the spring.

The carbon is cut with a hack saw, bolted together, and belt sanded or filed to the finished shape on a machine like this:- Ebay Item number: 270832116801
