Had a similar problem with SP motor.
If you know what you are doing take the back plate off the motor and the (tension spring on the male plugs on the motor can be ,Either taken off and replaced as they are like a c clip or they can be retensioned with a small blade by sticking it in the slots and opening out a little)
Hard to describe but easier to do !!
don`t know if this makes sense.
I just replaced the tension springs with new ones which i took off std male plugs.
