Core uses truck wishbones and turnbuckles. Just looked at the sc2 instructions and it appears to use the buggy wishbones. So to get it the same dimensions as the core you would also need to buy the macnum wishbones and turnbuckles. So the parts you would need to buy would be:
  • Chassis
  • Macnum wishbones
  • core front and rear shocktowers
  • New larger bodyshell
  • truck shock shafts
  • truck turnbuckles front and rear
  • wheels and tyres

Looking at that list you would probably be better buying a core in the first place. It would definately be more cost effective.

You could run an SC2 as standard but you will sturggle to get tyres and wheels to fit.

So unfortunatly it's not as simple as just changing a chassis I am afraid.

If you do decide to buy a CORE, then I would strongly asuggest looking at getting the X2SC straight away as it comes with all the bits you need and the price difference isn't that much. You would only end up spending the difference on hop ups anyways if you are planning to race one.
