lazerboy - ive only ever painted fire on rc about 4 times as ive hardly ever practiced it. taking that into consideration i think ive done a pretty good job.
that pic u showed was by adrc i think. him n zielke are some of the beasts at paintin this. but mind you, thats just about what they paint all the time, so they should be

i think im more than capable of it n so i do want to start trying it more as i would like to improve.
seeing as ive only just been painting a year now, ive been trying as many different styles/things i can and so havent had the time to knuckle down and crack on with one particular style.
all in time
dcm - just make ur own template outta some spare lexan. like the wheel wells etc.
and it can be done with water based paints. u dont have to have candies like spaz stix etc.
