If you race indoors then a simple ramp and flat section would be fine to use ase usually the tracks dont go to far away and it dosnt have to be too big. (ramp and flat could be two different pieces which locate together for ease of storage and movement.
Outdoors however brings up other problems because the track usually goes a bit into the distance so the ramp would have to be longer/higher but once again im sure if made correctly you could have it so 1-2-3 parts all interlocks.
However with careful design you could build a (for example) ramp which has 3 lengths of ramp which interlock to the max height for the longest tracks or it could be used with 1 piece and flat for shorter tracks
