RAW processor: Rawtherapee
Editor & retouching: GIMP
Photo manager: Picasa (Windows) or Digikam (Linux)
Panoramic stitcher: Microsoft ICE (Windows) or Hugin (Linux)

The workflow is Rawtherapee-> GIMP -> Picasa, depending on what needs doing.
