JIM: You have just contradicted yourself
I have noticed that the Type R KO's seem less likely to blow an analogue servo although I have seen it happen once. The problem is far more evident with Futabas HRS and with the newer spektrums.
I think in this instance it is far more prudent for Tobbe to spend the extra £10 and KNOW that the servo will work with any radio system.

The only beneifit of the digital that i understood was that you would get a slightly higher response time with the type R transmitter if it was in digital mode. But you can de-activate that to use analogue servos. (imagine the futaba system works in a similar way)
i'm guessing that an analogue servo wouldn't work at all if fed a digital signal? as opposed to working for a while and then packing up?
