I am no electronics engineer, but, it is something to do with the digital signal being faster than analogue. I have derrived this after reading lots of information from KO, Futaba and Spektrum, all of which state that damage will be caused to analogue servos by digital signal.
In fact some analogue servos simply don't work at all with digital radios ie. Hi-Tec
I found out the hard way when I got my 3VCS HRS by blowing 2 analogue servos in 3 weeks. I also have experience of several non-believers in the theory blowing analogue servos with spektrum systems. DG being one of them.
