I've only ran my T car at the Petit race which was flat (well no bumps anyway), however I also started using my 'new' lipos which were much heavier than old ones so for me, going to this setup has kept the same overall weight but natuarally moved the dias forward. I do now have a brass bulkhead though that I did not previously run but is the only added weight.
As of right now, the saddle chassis available from the factory is the best option because you don't need to change anything else like the battery strap. We've not yet quite worked out how the strap wil work perfectly on the T setup (well I've not anyway) but we'll get there soon enough.
