I think where I got mis-interpretd, the throttle and power mapping for an on-road car would and IS different to a buggy, as grip, tyres and everything is different. With brushed, you would buy motors with different winding techniques to alter how a motor reacted and gave it's power, not with Brushless, as it is the magnets that rotate and not the windings, you have to alter how a motor 'feels' with, easiest way to describe it, is like engine mapping in your car. You can have the same engine but alter the ignition timming and fuel input to get the engine to have differing characteristics.
Brshless is somewhat the same, and as the visible market initialy has been touring cars, thats what the profiles have been aimed at, and the motors. So a slightly different approach on the throttle mapping is needed for off-road to make the units more driveable.
