I purchased a Losi 22 a week ago. It's my first 1/10th buggy and I raced it at my local club on the weekend. My 22 is all stock with no upgrades, I did not have time to tweak the setup, the first time I used the car was racing with it on the track at the weekend.
The 22 is fantastic!
I placed well in the heat's and the final but this was due to the car being so easy to drive, stable, balanced, reliable & consistant. No parts broke, everything just worked as it should.
I would highly recommend getting the 22. I'm just your average club racer, so more experienced drivers may have a different opinion but I would not upgrade the 22 until you feel the need to as out of the box/stock it worked very well for me.
