Cold? u avin a giraffe? Theres a nice warm bar anyway and crown green bowling setup, you'res sounding like one of the retired bowls players..lol
The heaters do make a big difference to grip though dont they.. When we were sorting the last series out the hall manager said they were bidding for some funding in order to install a new heating setup as the current one cost a fortune to run...dont know if they were succesful or if its installed yet though.. heres a link to the venues webpage for all who are interested:
