Personally I never paint the top (right way round
) I remove the film liquid mask and do the whole design as I would the inside of the body, then back with the colour I want on the outside, then clear.
Obviously if you want the a patten/design on the outside aswell the I would back it with white then work the right way round and clear (but you probably already knew that Ian
)
