I toyed with the idea of making some braces for the chassis as has being shown on another thread, but I decided to create a flat carbon fibre plate to sit on top of the alloy battery bars. It runs the length of the chassis and is braced with the steering posts, so it might stop a bit of front to back flex when I crash it, there again it might not !

If nothing else it creates a really neat place to put all the wiring for the speedo etc and I enjoyed making it
