Default Sensored or sensorless

Simply put a sensored based system gives more control and better standing / slow starts, at any given time the ESC knows where the rotor in the motor is and what inputs to give to get the best out of it.

A sensorless system basically does not have as much control so standing or slow starts might be a bit jerky ( cogging ).

Save your pennies and buy a sensored system, there are loads out there and some come up in the trade section on here for reasonable money.
Just do what you have done here - ask questions !

I am sure someone else will make a welcome addition to this.
