The differences between the the B2 & later B3 were subtle - the B2 was released in the early 90s (94ish I think) but quickly replaced with the B3 which had a host of small changes which basically increased durabilty/strength of parts & gave greater adjustment. There was even a conversion kit to convert your B2 into a B3.....
The obvious difference for me which instantly stands out is the front shock tower - the B2 having only two top position for the shocks Vs the B3's three holes...
As to whether your car is worth anything.. the B2 is certainly a rarer beast & hence more desirable to the hardcore Associated collector over a B3 but the 'B' series cars don't seem to have the same following as the earlier ali tubbed RC10s & hence never seem to fetch as much, that said a bidding battle on ebay might realise a decent price for your old car
