Firstly, Terry the chassis is based on a ZX-S as well as the shock towers and steering, hence why its nicknamed a ZXRS. It also is a vast improvement on the original design in and out of corners. Yes basically its a ZX or ZXR but the weight distribution is better and more balanced.

Funny isnt it that you said nothing from toms car is from a ZXS, mmm blue steering (standard in the ZXS kit, as well as a super 10), diffs (standard in the ZXS kit), Rear upright hubs (standard in the kit, and much older than the ZX5 or ultima RB5 type R - I also owned one of them), ZXRR hyper clutch slipper system and layshafts and layshaft gears (all standard in the ZXS kit). Bearings, steering poles, Ujs, UJ wheel adapters, front hub, Wheels, wishbones, shocks (the same as what the the ZX5 is using) this is pointless, as a lot of the kit actually comes from the ZX and ZXR cars to make the ZXS. But as you dont have one I suppose you wouldnt know.

Chris, bodyshell will be available soon when I give the original shell and undertray to the below bodyshell company to copy. Its going out in the post this weekend. I am also having one made by Fibre shell but this is only the undertray but if you are using your car would recommend buying one as it will take more punishment. Anyway look at this web site for all the information you will ever need on the ZX/ZXR.

I think page 43 says this site is what you will need for the LWB Optima shell, but hold fire on buying it as they will also be doing the ZXS shell as they are making a mold for it over the next month.i would recommend you reading from say page 10 or so onwards as the information there will be helpful to you, as Terry, Tom, myself and a lot of other guys have put our knowledge into helping out all who own one of these cars. Any probs PM me and I will try and help. Hope this helps.

Oh yes one more thing, it will be just as competitive as all the new cars out there, so dont believe people when they say its old and rubbish, the car has made the worlds A final and won a euros A final as well as the UK nationals so definately has a racing pedigree.
