I think I ran it too loose to begin with and now it seems the balls are worn and when I tighten the diff up it seems to me that the diff plates are rubbing on the plastic, if you follow me. I got one of the regular guys to look at it track side and he said the same. Can this happen to a new diff and so soon.
I noticed when I first built the diff the balls could fall right through the gear. I have only built on road diffs and the balls usually sat nice in the hole - just clicking in.
I did follow the video and tightened it up (I thought) to the point where I couldnt turn the diff by hand when holding both outdrives.
Lesson learnt as I now know the difference between a diff squealing or a slipper clutch slipping ha
Have bought the DEX210 after years out of off road as I usually do TCs. It was great fun
