back in the day, we found Schumacher full spikes to be the ticket on polished wood. they were best with a lot of wear on them (1mm or less of the spike left) Worth trying these in both blue and yellow, we found blue worked better in some conditions. At one of our venues, CAT origional Full Spikes (with the flat carcass) in blue were just brilliant, i'm unsure if they're available again?
I'm sure the new mini-pins would be useable too, i remember some people trying them towards the end of that style of racing over here.
