I picked up the Losi gear differential last night. I also experienced binding when bolting the transmission case. I loosened the screws that don't attach to the motor plate and it was better. It's still tight but I didnt notice any issues on the track.
I also picked up the RTR shock caps and I'm thrilled with how easy they are to build with the bleeder screws. TQ and win last night to top it off.
