It's not the usual supply and demand BS. It's quite simply down to a big cock up and someone should be shot with sh*t. It's not just wheels it seems to be spares in general, you release a kit before you have an adequate parts backup when you should have the parts support ready when the kits are!

TD get your act together before you chase people away. Your cars are good but what's the point if you can't race them. People will only put up with this for so long.

There was no big cock-up as you think. No-one forgot about the wheels. Might be worth getting your facts right, before posting that someone is 'like a chimp'.
Wheels were infact ordered well over the demand level at the time. A couple of model shoips that were on the ball took a heck of a load of stock and you sometimes can't predict the spike in the demand which you get at a product launch. We are simply victims of our own success!
The old wheels are still a viable option for those who can't get hold of the hex wheels, if you shim the spacer, cone washer and wheel correctly so that there is no end float between the pin and the cone washer then the 'old' style pin wheel will work just as well as the new hex version. I still run some pin wheels that have been acetone 5 or more times and they are still upto the job.
Admittedly spares have been slow to market, and we can only apologise for this, but we hit some supply snags at the factory and these have been ironed out now and the spares are coming in thick and fast.

Like I said we have been a little taken aback by the success of the 210 and 410v3. It's left us playing catch up for a while, but we're nearly on top of it now.
