Apologies for the thread hijack (esp as I don't even tun a TC any more) but one thing I noticed was, as has been said, tyre warmers work well bringing tyres up to running temp, especially on carpet, carpet being indoors, but have never seen mains powered tyre warmers? All seem to be 7.2 or 12v? Bearing in mind most chargers are 12/240v these days, i wouldn't buy a power supply just to power tyre warmers. I guess you just use an old 7.2v and charge it up now and again - do they last a while?
I guess I should race more and think less....
