I'm in the process of inspecting, cleaning & partially rebuilding my x2c gearbox, there are two parts which i am unsure of, the first is this, marked with the arrow:
there appears to be no reference to it in the build manual, i
think it came out in the order it shows in the pic but i'm doubting myself, lol. Could someone confirm/indicate which order it goes onto the shaft ?
Secondly, whilst removing the outdrive ball races this "washer" came out:
it is definately not part of a worn ball race yet i'm both unsure exactly where it came from (ie, which side of the ball race) or indeed if it belongs in there at all, again, no reference to this in the manual. Note, there was only one of these found.
I'd appreciate anyone's knowledge greater than my own
