i appreciate thats the general rule of thumb, but the paint scheme i'd like (with the paint masks/decals) won't allow me to do this on the lower half of my shell.
Top half is fine as the bulk of it is black, but the bottom half i'd like white, then within the white i'd like the mask/decal to have a black border, i guess i may be able to apply more masking tape so it overlaps the applied decal, then trim the excess so what would be the white area is masked, peel off the border to the decal/mask, paint the black bit, un-mask what was added and do the white?
