If you want to make it original, then you will have to change wheels, but the conversion to Tamiyas was popular at the time as they were much lighter than the originals and compatible with the 2 inch Schumacher tyres we were all using back then.

To fit RC10 wheels on the front you will need new front axles, but the steering blocks are still used today on Associateds pan cars so easy to replace unless you want original white ones. The original rear wheels located on the split pin in the axle, every adapter used the same split pin to locate them, so to fit original wheels on the rear just pop off the adapters.
