My view is that you may get a little less pin wear as there are now two of them and they are not at such a steep angle BUT not you have half the wear over 2 pins instead of one. There will be less vibration if any of the shafts or outputs are off and that means that the bearings will have an easier time as they get pushed and pulled hard with that angle of shaft. The only trouble is that you now also have two pins to retain instead of one. It is a large expense for a very little gain in my opinion.
