The normal slipper clutch seems to give slipping action to all four wheels, whereas the double slipper seems to have each plate connected to one of the pulleys.
The advantage is that when the rear wheels need to slip, you still have full power on the front wheels, and the other way around. So it would theoretically increase acceleration, especially when landing and shortly after landing jumps. The pads can't be adjusted individually in tension, so there doesn't seem to be a big setup advantage.
Even with the eBay price often at half of the MSRP, considering the price difference alone I'd go for a single slipper. Performance-wise I don't think the advantages are HUGE, but then again I don't own a DB01 or TRF501/511
