INDOOR 24 hour (Ebor24) ENDURANCE RACE 2012
York Club have announced the 2012 running of their popular EBOR24 - 24h electric buggy race held at York clubs indoor venue over two days. The race is a popular one with several factory-backed teams taking part in previous years. oOple will be sure to attend another great EBOR race!

2pm Saturday 11th February until 2pm Sunday 12th February 2012
YORCC Indoor venue, Huntington School YO32 9WT
For the overall winning team a main Trophy (to be returned to YORCC, Jan 2013),
And a momento trophy for each member of that winning team
Also 1 trophy for the best of each class (2wd and 4wd) team (Subject to more than one team of that class starting)
1/10th Electric Buggy - Production based buggy (per team)
Each team to use their own PT
Max 10 Teams (Min of Seven**)
Each team to consist of minimum 6 drivers, maximum of 12 drivers
All drivers/marshals must be BRCA members on the day
(Please bring your BRCA membership card with you)
Proceeds after costs to be split between
Yorkshire Cancer Research / Yorkshire Air Ambulance
v Track Set-up:- Friday evening 7.00pm to 10.30pm
v Final tweeks to set-up of track and power supply into pitting hall Saturday 09.30am
v Doors open for competitors 11.00am – NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING/CARAVANS etc.
v Practice 12.00 Noon to 1.30pm (Chassis to be marked in this time*)
Chassis can only be replaced (like for like) observed and remarked* by scrutineers.
v Random scrutineering (equally timed (per team)) will be made during the 24hr race time
v Car bodies to be BRCA (2011) legal with no hinged sections/flaps/cut outs or chassis cutouts to accommodate very easy battery changes. No quick release wheels.
v Tyres: Schumacher Mini-Pins or Mini-Spike only (NO FOAM Tyres)
v Standard Production Buggy Wheels
v Motors:- As per current BRCA Listing (Brushed or Brushless)
v Batteries:- Hard-cased 7.4V (2S) Lipo or BRCA Listed Cells
v No external battery power for transmitters
MARSHALS:- It is the responsibility of each team to provide a (1) marshal trackside
(MUST be a BRCA member), as EACH TEAM ONLY marshals THEIR OWN TEAM’S CAR.
A car breaking within the track must be recovered sorted/repaired etc and restart from that same position
