I feel honestly sorry for people that get hooked into saving a buck on electronics, as it always comes at a price (and that price being lack of quality). It's really not as much a matter of the motor, as it is the lack of smoothness of throttle response in a budget ESC. So between that, and people overpowering their cars (too much motor relative to skill level of the user), too many can find the hobby frustrating.
