they are a pain. the loop on the brush is slightly larger than the tube so that it is compressed in there and won't pop out the other end.

think i lightly pinched the big loop to feed it into the tube, once the first loop was in i then threaded the brush wire down the spring out side, and then pulled the wire from the outside to force the spring down the tube.

hope that makes sense, but hopefully one of the Peak boys will give a few hints!
