Scaling back power is never really a bad thing, being as a car that is already a handful never gets better doing whatever it does bad faster.
But I always seem to have less motor than half the guys in the field, and my only issue is dodging them as they're bouncing off the walls. And a 6.5 just seems like a LOT of motor, unless you're ultimately talented behind the wheel or running a track the size of a football field.
