I live near the Spen Valley green way, this cool railway which was coverted to a 7 mile long tarmac track. Near the end there is a woods, and you go down a small( really small) opening for about 200 yds. Then in the middle of the woods, some ace guys have cut a 50-60ft clearing, and built a proper BMX/motocross track. I lived in liversedge for years...which end of the greenway is it?
There used to be a small trails behind what was a scrapyard at the entrance where halifax and headlands road meet up. That's years ago though before the greenway when the railway track was there and they first tried to make it into a bridlepath.
Does anyone remember the old bmx track down quaker lane near cleckcheaton. That was great...Ahh back in my younger days.
