using heat shrink to secure the drive pin is not enough. mine (09 spec) went through the lipo with spectacular outcome
i believe the dex410R had a plastic collar.
some of you might have seen the pics below from my club thread. good thing some quick-thinking club members helped to separate the saddle packs so damage was contained to just one cell.
