Hard to say, have never calculated it fully. Depending on the type of shell I would guess about 1.6oz per shell perhaps?? Some apply less/more than others though so no set rules. Stated shelf life of 12 months I think. It will work longer than that but the longer it is left the less efficiently it works.
How many bods do you paint? No point getting a 16oz bottle if you only do 2 or 3 bods a year.
