Shame i cannot run the car as there is not room to fit a 28t/ 29t pinion  as there is no room on the motorplate to slide the motor any more forwards.

I presume that it maybe wasn't intended that you swap around the arms, I think its printed L for left
Why do you want a 28/29 pinion? you running brushed?
