I've also had a good chat with Durango UK today about thin type front wheels. I like to use the middle and outer rims, but the standard 210 wheel has a large middle rim that does not sit the tyre well. I think they were happy to take a look at a propper thinner wheel for the EU and UK market. I think the wheel width as standard is more for the larger US market where they run wider tyres ??
I found that mini pins, staggers and spikes are a little to streched when on the outer rims as the tyre dips in the middle. I've cut the inner rim off and had to pull the tyre outwards on the inside and run a drip of glue on the outside of the tyre . I like to lift the tyre and glue, not easy on the standard 210 rims.
