I upgraded the front brace to Aluminium, and i've broken a couple of spurgears, and 1 upright, and both rear bulkhead inserts. but thats it, and i not a well trained and smooth driver... go for the R version, and upgrade anything that you brake, when you brake it. i had a blast at the swedish championship with mine...
