Have Nene Valley ever ran a dedicated 1/10 EP event? It's actually the closest track to me by a long way but with only having 1/10 EP cars I have never ventured down there.
I would like to run Nitro at sometime but was talking to someone last week who has switched to 1/10 EP from 1/8 Nitro as he said the Nitro was too expensive and labour intensive. 11 motors used in a season and new sets of tyres for every race at £40 a set.... I can't afford that!!  |
The 1/8 electric are as quick as nitro but as with everything it depends on motor and battery.
Electric is slightly more expensive initially but cheaper in the long run. No fuel or engines to replace.
We don't run 1/10 but Telstra racing run an event in Milton keynes which gets about 40 drivers a week.
