Thats what I did, I let the leader through, just sat behind him (actually drove better behind him, still learning) then he made his mistake......and I went on to driving like a stoner!!
Obviously if second place was close enough I would let him through too.
I try and treat lapping cars how I would expect to be treated. So I always move over and let them through, as thats what I expect others to do for me if I'm in that situation...doesn't alway work out like that though.
So Ash, think like that, what would you expect the lapped car to do if you'd laped him? would you be happy if you were leading and suddenly the lapped car started to race you to unlap himself?
I find that somtimes being lapped can give you an advantage, like it did me. I just sat behind him (not racing him) and just made up places as he lapped other people.
