plasma sounds better usually, as the screen is thicker and the casing is usually better buit than led/lcd, so making a better speaker cabinet. on some lcd/leds you can feel the screen vibrating when tv turned up loud, but as this is in phase with the sound coming off the back of the speakers in the tv, it is actually cancelling the sound from the speakers! like if you go to a club with a poor sound system and you find a spot where two speakers overlap?
