Yes, but that depends on what you expect from a raceday :-) (you are able to compete with a sc 2wd too, I raced many times with my 2wd buggy in the 4wd buggy class). SC is clearly not the main class here, so I don't see if you want to drive with your 2wd SC, why you can't have fun. If you go for results, compare yourself to other 2WD SC's or try to beat the 4wd's and get satisfaction from that.
Your original question was why it is not split into 2 categories. I think this is just a timing issue. It's clear that this is mainly a buggy race, so I guess they will not lower the amount of buggy entries in favor of an extra SC heat.
Guess you will just have to live with that :-)
