what adam has said is exactly the same with the 1/8th versions,they are still very grippy when well worn,fitting new ones doesnt make the car faster just a bit more edgey.
i think its the combination of the compound and the rough patterend carcass that helps with the forward drive of them
have you tried them on wet astro yet adam..my only gripe with the 8 ones was they didnt work too well on wet astro,maybe these will.
