Yes I can see what you mean but if you're anything like most of the other artists I know you are your own worst critic. Therefore the customer may well be happy and you shouldn't highlight your parts they may well not notice.
Also I understand offering the deal on the next one but everyone charges peanuts for these as it is, you need to find some middle ground where you're both happy and no deal needs to be done.
How many shells have you painted ? Not as many as any of the pro's, customers need to be aware of this and the fact you are still building on your skills which I would imagine is reflected in the price.
You're doing better than you think and the more you do the better you'll get.
