The ZX5 is a good car out of the box, but IMHO it needs the following hop-ups to make it 100% reliable :
- front alu hinge pin brace
- front alu shock tower holder
- those new X-pattern shock seals
- thungsten or ceramic diff balls. I used Associated stealth
This seems a lot, but consider the fact that the ZX5 is considerably cheaper compared to its competition.
I normally do not trash other cars, but 9 years ago I raced a Predator and I still wake up screaming at night
I hope they've made the X-10 A LOT stronger then it was and also more capable of dealing with bumpy tracks.
