Thanks for that but I've also tried binding using a seperate battery pack from my aircraft radio with nothing else connected. Even that didn't work.

I did think it might be an issue with the original binding in as much as I might have had the throttle trim off centre when I did the very first bind out of the box, but I've tried binding to a different rx and still had the same problem and also tried then rebinding back to the original rx and the problem persists.
