I have currently been running both classes at the UK short Course Nationals.
Using the SC10 2WD and the SC10 4WD,Enjoying both classes just as much, maybe the 4WD just having the edge as i was maybe lapping 1-2sec faster with the 4WD sometimes was lapping faster with 2WD.
Ive had no problems with the SC10 4WD with over 50 packs only one issue was the clicker melted on the end due to human error overtightening of the belt.
Can only compare the SC104wd to the slash 4wd,the sc10 takes more setup but once its dialed runs way better than the slash.
Overall i would say race 4WD but the SC10 is the lightest and can get pushed around by the derango and Losi as they are heavier.
Using castle creations 1400 4 pole 540 motor with SCTŁ95) in 4WD and Castle creations 4600 with MMp in the 2WD,both have been awesome to drive.
Have been looking at the new blitz ese pro as an alternative to the SC10 but have a look at UltimateRC on "you tube" and jang has just done a review on it so you can make up your own mind.
