Hi sorry to butt in I have just made my own losi mid motor long wheelbase which measures 286mm. I have only tested the car on grass in both wet and dry conditions and it is more stable than the standard version and produces more consistant grip. In addition I have also changed the chassis flex which is softer than the standard CR2 but stiffer than the original Losi xxx as I just didnt like the standard Cr2 the front to rear balance I just didnt like. The chassis flex has had the greatest effect on grip and the car feels much better front and rear especially when you use the losi alloy rear pivot block from the xxxt cr truck.
Also you can see in photos home made rear motor brace which attaches to the original gear box holes and through the Gea brass gear box brace and into the chassis. Currently testing rear anti roll bar kit proto hopefully will get all finished in a few weeks for my first run for years.
