Or you could try plastidip.
Its what a lot of the touring cars guys are building there wet cars with now.

You get a small paint tin pot sized and just grab whatever you want to seal and submerge it in the stuff.
When it dries it shrinks and grips to the item. Its also great to remove with no damage to the item and zero mess left.
